Board of Public Utilities

The Board of Public Utilities meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the conference room of Columbia Power and Water Systems.

There are five members of the Board of Public Utilities, one of which must be a member of the City Council.  Members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the City Council to serve staggered four-year terms. 

The General Manager is responsible for the daily operations. Wes Kelley is the current General Manager.  Daniel Murphy currently serves as the Board's attorney.

The Study Sessions and Board Meetings are scheduled for the third and fourth Wednesday of every month except for the following:
*The May Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 due to the TVPPA  Conference being  held May 20-22, 2013. 
**The November Study Session and Board Meeting have been changed due to Thanksgiving.
***The December Study Session and Board Meeting have been changed due to Christmas.
