CPWS, in cooperation with TVA, offers programs designed for commercial business with efficiency in mind -- Energy Solutions for Business, Enhanced Growth Credit Program, and the energy right® Commercial Program for Commercial Power Customers of Columbia Power & Water Systems.
Columbia Power System has cash incentives available to qualified small commercial customers, with a monthly billing demand not greater than 50kW, for the installation of unitary all-electric heat pumps or all-electric water heaters. Incentives may also be available to customers with billing demands of 51kW to 200kW but require pre-approval from CPWS.
Water Heaters*
Install a new electric water heater and you may be eligible for a $100 cash incentive from Columbia Power System. Incentive is available for new construction or retrofit applications.

Heat pumps must be rated by the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute
The units shall have minimum efficiency ratings of:

Incentives not available for upper floor installations if non-electric heat is on lower floor.

For new construction, incentives will be paid to the decision maker.For retrofit applications, incentives will be paid to the building/property owner or the customer purchasing the water heater or heat pump.
