Columbia Power System offers cash incentives to our customers installing electric heat pumps and/or water heaters in their homes.

Heat Pumps

This incentive is available for TVA financed or non-financed units.
Incentives will not be available for upper floor installations if non-electric heat is on the lower floor.
The units shall have minimum efficiency ratings of:

	Packaged Unit	SEER* 9.7	HSPF* 6.6
	Split Unit	SEER* 10	HSPF* 6.8
Rebate request must be filed within 90 days of installation. Rebate Request Form

Water Heaters

Electric, 40 gallon minimum
Year-round use
Proof of purchase
Must replace gas to be applicable in apartments.
Rebate request must be filed within 90 days of installation.
All units will be site verified after installation.

Incentive Payments

Incentives Paid to Homeowner

Heat Pumps	$25/ton
Free TVA inspection available upon request.

Incentives not available for upper floor installations if non-electric heat is on lower floor.

Water Heaters	$100 per electric water heater (non-energy right® qualified home)
	($75 per 38-gallon low-boy in retrofit applications)
	40 gallon minimum Year-round use Must replace gas to be applicable in multi-family units (duplex qualifies as single-family; 3 or more units qualify as multi-family) Rebate request must be filed within 90 days of installation
If your home does not meet the energy right® guidelines, you may receive $100 per electric water heater, provided that: the water heater is at least 40 gallons the water heater is used year-round the rebate request is filed within 90 days of installation
