The Columbia Power System is an electrical power distribution system supplying electrical power to consumers located in the City of Columbia, the Town of Spring Hill and parts of rural Maury and Williamson Counties.

All electrical power is purchased from Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) under a power contract.

The System currently serves 22,820 customers, consisting of 19,217 residential customers, 3,565 commercial and industrial customers, and 38 security, street and athletic lighting customers.

Columbia Water System serves the City of Columbia and the surrounding communities in Maury County and sells bulk water to Maury County Water System.

The existing Columbia Water System Treatment Plant began operation in 1955 and was renovated in 1967, 1987, and 2002.

It is a conventional water treatment plant with a design capacity of 20 million gallons per day (mgd) and currently has an average daily production of 10 (mgd).
