Columbia Power and Water Systems is a public utility – owned by you, the citizens of Columbia and Maury County. We are proud to have served you since 1939 and look forward to serving you many more years.
Columbia Power and Water Systems is committed to providing reliable utilities at reasonable rates and also strives to better the local community through various activities each year. CPWS fosters a volunteering spirit and prides itself in having many employees actively participating in civic organizations around Maury County. Employees are members and officers in the Kiwanis, Rotary, and Junior Auxiliary of Columbia organizations. Boards across the City are also staffed with CPWS employees. We currently hold positions on the Family Center Board of Directors, Leadership Maury Board of Directors, and the Crime Stoppers Board of Directors.
